Richard Hunt

1993

The three ton stainless steel sculpture outside of the State of Illinois Building is the epiphany of abstract art. Freeform, one of Richard Hunt’s largest pieces was created with Hunt’s view on abstract art – that it is freely formed. The elegantly curved lines make it hard to believe that it is made of steel.
